RED BOOT RETREAT - 

The Guild attended “The Red Boot Retreat Center” for the first time in March 2022. It was such
a fun experience, that decision was made to continue with both a Spring and a Summer retreat
each year. Since then, we’ve followed through with Red Boot and Compass Retreat locations.
 

COMPASS CENTRE -

The very first retreat that the Granbury Quilt Guild planned, was held at the Compass Centre.  

We have been going to the Compass Centre once a year since then.

If you’ve never attended a retreat, this is a great way to make new friends from our Guild, sew
on projects without the usual “home interruptions”, learn new quilt-related techniques, enjoy
good meals without having to cook, and clean, and stay up… or sleep in… as much as you want.
As of the end of September, there are 10 reserved seats and 15 open seats with 3 on a wait list.
This is a popular trip, and spaces will fill quickly. I will continue to have a signup sheet, and
accept payments, at each Guild meeting.
 

Our next scheduled retreat is September 11th - 14th, 2025 at Compass Centre.  Sign up sheet will be

available at every monthly meeting leading up to September.  The cost is $327 for three nights, and four

days.  Don’t wait! Make your deposit at the next Guild Meeting to secure your reservation.
More information will be shared as plans continue to develop. …. There will be surprises!
